smoking discrimination

From the reading i think the writers agues how unfair it is that employers should be manging or trying to take over thier employees personal life. som employers argue that smoking increases the healthcare and also affect other peole in the workplace therefore prohibit them from smoking in the work premises. this is agreeyable but when it is taken to the extreme where the try to invade in thier employees private lives by not makin them smoke and getting them fired when they smoke at home oer away from the premises is just wrong. i think employers should have nothing to do with thier employees once they are out of work on not on the clock. whatever they do with thier lives is up to them and npt the boss or manager to decide

  1. I agree with what Deb is saying, whatever is done in your own home is that person's business, and no one else's. It is unfair that people are getting fired for smoking, when it is legal. If that person wants to smoke and develop health problems, let them, this is the U.S. and we are allowed to make our own decisions.
